Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Job Holster app and services ("the app"), operated by Jobholster LLC, a company registered in Missouri, United States ("Job Holster," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

The app is a tool for contractors and tradespeople to organize their client and job information. It is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the team members you invite.
You will not attempt to access other users' data, probe the app's security, or circumvent rate limits.

3. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the content you put into the app (your client and job records). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit it solely to operate the app for you. You represent that you have the right to store the information you enter about your clients (including names, phone numbers, addresses, and any recorded conversations) under the laws of your jurisdiction, and that you will use the app in compliance with applicable laws (including privacy and anti-spam laws). Do not use the app to harass, threaten, defraud, or otherwise harm anyone, including the people whose information you store, and do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.

4. Subscriptions, free access, and billing

Job Holster gives you free access when you start, currently 14 days of full access for up to 50 job or customer records. After that, an active subscription is required to add new jobs. Without a subscription, existing jobs remain editable for 90 days, then the workspace becomes read-only and may later be deleted after warning. Terms may change.
Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play at the price shown in the app.
Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the paid features remain available until then.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.

5. AI features

The app can use AI to help extract and format job details from text you submit. Your messages and matching information are forwarded through our AI proxy to our AI provider for processing. The provider's API key is held by us. The app does not accept user-supplied API keys, and monthly usage caps are enforced per workspace on the server. AI output is generated by a third-party model and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review it before relying on it. You are responsible for the accuracy of records you save. AI processing is subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Data and backups

You retain all rights to the data you enter. From Settings → Setup & advanced → Save a backup of your jobs, you can download a ZIP containing spreadsheet files for jobs, notes, messages, and statuses. Photos, audio, file attachments, and change history are not included. We may perform routine backups for disaster recovery but do not guarantee data restoration in any specific timeframe. Keep your own export if your data is critical.

7. Account termination

You may permanently delete your account from Settings → Setup & advanced → Account settings → Delete my account. If you are the only owner of a workspace with other members, you must remove those members or arrange an ownership transfer first. A solely owned workspace without other members is deleted with its data. Records in someone else's shared workspace may remain after your membership is removed. Deleting your Job Holster account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, so cancel the subscription in that store first. If you cannot access the app, see our account-deletion page for an email-based request process. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that consume disproportionate resources, or that we reasonably suspect of fraud or abuse, with or without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months (which, if the app was provided free of charge, is zero). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

9. No warranty

The app is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-extracted data is correct. You should verify it before relying on it for business decisions. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will surface a notice in the app on next sign-in. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the app will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your place of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.
