Delete your Jobholster account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Jobholster account and the data associated with it. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in identity (email, hashed password) held by the operator's authentication provider.
- Every client record you created — names, phone numbers, addresses, custom fields, change history.
- Every message you ingested and every note you wrote, including voice-memo audio and AI-cleaned transcripts.
- All photos, drawings, and attachments you uploaded.
- Your encrypted cloud backup, if you had one.
- Your organization memberships.
- Your local app data on each device where you were signed in.
- Your AI usage history.
What may be retained
For up to 30 days after deletion, the following may persist briefly before being purged:
- Anonymized server logs (no personal data attached).
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics events (signups, status changes — never personal data).
- Billing records, if any, where required by law.
How to delete your account from inside the app (recommended)
- Open Jobholster and sign in.
- Tap the Account icon (top right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Read the warning, then type the confirmation phrase shown on screen.
- Tap Permanently delete account.
Deletion completes immediately. You will be signed out and your auth record will be removed from our servers.
How to delete your account without using the app
If you can no longer access the app (lost device, forgotten password, app uninstalled) you can request deletion by email:
- Send an email to [email protected] from the email address tied to your Jobholster account.
- Use the subject line
Account deletion request.
- Include this sentence in the body: "I am requesting permanent deletion of my Jobholster account and all associated data."
We will verify ownership of the email address, complete the deletion, and reply with confirmation within 7 days.
If you are the only owner of an organization
Jobholster will not allow you to delete your account while you are the sole owner of an organization that contains other members or data. Before deleting:
- Promote another member to Owner from the Account → Team section, or
- Remove all other members from the organization first, or
- If the organization should be dissolved entirely, mention this in your email request and we will dissolve it as part of the deletion process.
